The Holidays are upon us and we have been busy as ever!!!

We enjoyed a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving meal with all of our favorites, of course! Larry, John, and Waylon came to sing for us as well as Patty Ames! We enjoyed our Family Night Bingo alons with celebrating National Cider Day as well.

Some of the reisdents took a trip doen to Kampsville the end of the month to see all the colors changing as well as visiting their favorite spots.

A very special Thank You to Jerry Sievers and Debbie Hall, we were so excited to see Mr. and Mrs. Clause this past weekend!!

We are so very excited that its our annual Christmas Lights Tour Time!!!  In the last week we have taken 30 residents already to see the beautiful Christmas lights around Calhoun.  We start out at the Illinois River in Hardin, down to Batchtown light show, then to Candy Cane Lane and finish it at the top of Rocky Hill!! Byt the time we are done over 50 residents will have gone to see all the lights!

Thank you to all of the people who spend so much time on these displays every year.  The residents look forward to this for months and talk about it for weeks after!

The residents have been busy each week, trying new recipes for our activity "A taste of Home" every Friday. Last week we made hay stacks, complete with white chocolate, peanut butter, chow mein noodles and marshmallows!!

If you are looking for something to do the week of Christmas, come join us on Wednesday, December 23rd, for our annual Christmas Celebration along with a special visit from Mr. & Mrs. Clause.  Patty Ames will be singing for us that night at 6:30 as well!
